It's the most wonderful time of the year. The temperatures have dropped, holiday decorations are up, and sadly, you're probably sober. Fret not my dear, as your resident Fairy Booze-Mother I am here to give you my recipe for Spiked Eggnog.
There really is something to be said about drinking eggnog this time of year. It's the perfect cocktail for trimming the tree and the perfect getaway excuse to use when your annoying co-worker (Susan? Rebecca?) you're having passive-aggressive email fights with corners you at the office party (just me?)
Full Disclosure: I've never made eggnog from scratch and (sorry to bust your bubble) I'm certainly NOT about to attempt it now. I purchase Organic Valley Eggnog which can be found in literally any grocery store. Personally, I like my eggnog a tad more spicy so I doctor it up a bit. Top it with some vanilla bean whipped cream and voilà, you've got a cocktail that took 5 whole minutes to put together. You can also make this in a large batch should you need to.
